During the month of September we will be

1. working on pre-reading skills: 

rhyming words, 

clapping syllables,

visual discrimination,

auditory discrimination,

noticing the differences between a letter and a word,

noticing the direction used when reading a book,

singing songs and reciting poems

2. continuing the Synthetic Phonics program:

learning the letter sounds for 

a, n, t, s, i, l, d, r
e, m, p, f

3. listening to stories read to us every day

4. using puppets to create our own stories
